Official Beginning of BLHP Operations
After months of hard work and preparation, the Buddhist Literary Heritage Project has formally begun our operations, effective on 1 January 2010.
First “Proof of Concept” Translation Completed
Completion of the pilot translation of the first 4 of 16 chapters (or 56 of 335 pages) of the Sutra of the Meeting of the Noble Father and Son, coupled with a detailed “proof of concept” report, by Tsechen Kunchab Ling.
Launch of Interim Website
This interim BLHP website has been launched for the purpose of providing basic information to all our friends and supporters. Work is underway for the development of a fully functional BLHP website. Look out for our updates!
Commissioning of Translations
We are beginning to commission translations on an invitation basis. In the future, a number of translation funding opportunities may be available to others. If you would like to be made aware of these opportunities as they arise, please contact our administrator.
